Obsidian Forest
I ran harder, trying to pull away, but her speed was unreal! She moved, her body lean and sleek, through the forest, turning faster than I could, accelerating faster, with her lighter frame, I knew she’d catch me. Finally, I felt that whip coil around my belly, and a hard yank, and I went to the ground. She flicked the whip, making it uncoil as I struggled onto all fours, to get up and run again, but before I could get back up, I felt the fiery tongue of that whip against my haunches. I jumped up, grabbing my rump, the denim jeans blown away from the spot that it hit, it hit me so hard. I felt wetness. Blood. She was way more skilled with a whip than I thought she was. She cracked the whip again, catching me in the side, making me cry out, and I fell to the ground, clutching it, before she grabbed me by the shoulders, and slammed me repeatedly against the ground, dazing me, shaking me up terribly. She looked furious that I would try to run again. She struck me across the face a few times, and looked sternly into my eyes. “Ana sirana kurei!” she shouted, growling savagely, and slapping my muzzle again. “Yukina!” she barked. I struggled a bit, and she slammed me again. Running was not going to work anymore. I was stuck. I was pinned! I lay there, in the leaves and grass, looking up at her. So beautiful. Why did it have to be under these kind of circumstances that I met her? She would have made a wonderful friend, if she were not viciously trying to kill me. I had to act fast, or my life was over! What would I be able to do against her?
